Introducing  myGarden Journal, the app to monitor and track your garden’s progress. Note: iOS 6.0 or later required.

As you garden, it is useful to have a way to keep track of all the aspects of your garden (bed layout, plant species, locations, growth over time, etc.).  Whether it is a yearly vegetable plot, a collection of one plant type, or a mixed border, with myGarden you can do just that.

myGarden allows you to easily map your garden’s dimensions, locate beds within the garden, and locate plants within each bed while storing useful plant information in your own database.  You can also take pictures over time to chart a plant’s progress or a garden bed’s development.

Additionally, with your iphone or ipad, you can share your garden anytime and anywhere with friends. It’s the next best thing to actually being in your garden.

Features

• Intuitive mapping interface to layout your garden and bed dimensions and locate individual plants within each bed.  You will easily be able to locate plants and possibly avoid disturbing dormant plants that you can’t see.  This also allows you to see what you grew in a bed last time should you want to rotate your vegetable plantings;

• Colour coded beds to readily identify the type of bed (vegetable, perennial, mixed border, etc.);

• Add plants to your personal plant database to keep track of names and varieties.  You finally have a place to put all the botanical names, variety names, and other plant information on those plant labels.  From the database you can also search the web for additional information;

• Take pictures of your plants and planting beds to record progress.  Take a picture of the first bloom, special fall color, attractive planting combinations, plant successes and failures, for example.

• myGarden is the gardening app that avid gardeners of all types will find indispensable.  Once you have myGarden, you will wonder how you ever managed without it.

• Support for multiple gardens allows you to retain last years garden information and start afresh each year.
